.
This swedish reel is solidy built of stainless steel with brass components, featuring reduced use of plastic, bevelled edge, lazer etched logo and a superior refined feel to it. Internally, it is packed solid with carbon matrix drag system, centrifugal brakes and corrision resistant bearings. The record is a reworked model of the original record that was created in 1939, the first reel made by Abu. With a light weight vented spool, the abu is a joy to hold as well as asthetically pleasing to the eye.
.
The reel is very smooth when used, and is one of the longest casting reel beating all the C3 models. Over the years, it had never disappointed, packing a punch even under the most demanding situation. Maintenance is quite simple, only requiring a thorough lubing once a while. This reel is highly recommended for luring.
